Personal Days

Employees accrue personal days at the rate of  day per month the first day of each month following  days of employment.

Paid personal days can be used to care for an ill family member, to attend personal functions, court appearances, doctor appointments, or to conduct essential personal business that must be resolved within regular working hours.

Personal days may not be taken consecutively unless pre-approved by an immediate supervisor.  Personal days may not be used to extend vacation time or be added to paid Company holidays.

An immediate supervisor must approve personal time at least  in advance unless the need was not foreseeable.  It may be taken in increments of full or half days.

Personal time is not a cash benefit and any accrued, unused time will not be paid out upon termination.  However, up to  unused  may be carried over into the next calendar year.
