It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Jane Doe will be leaving Company ABC to pursue a new opportunity at Company XYZ as Director of Engineering.
Jane joined Company ABC as an Engineer in June, 2006 and became Manager of Engineering Services in 2009. For the last four years she has provided incredible leadership to ABC in her role as Director of Engineering and Innovation Services. Jane has been the key leader for several innovative initiatives that have positioned ABC to be a leader in our sector for years to come. These include:
Conducting process mapping studies to improve throughput by 36% and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
Consistently regarded as one of consulting firm’s most highly requested engineers, maintaining 89% or higher billable utilization for the past 4 years.
Co-developed material for cooling radiators that saved $300K/year.
Together with her team and a strong group of advisors, her department has taken our strategy to a new level. Personally I have learned so much from Jane through watching her leadership. She has a passion for client satisfaction and innovation and I am thrilled that she will have a new opportunity to lead another group of engineering professionals.
Jane’s last day will be February 29, 2016. Information will be shared on the transition plan for leadership of the Engineering and Innovation Services portfolio.
Please join me in saying thank you and wishing Jane all the best in this new opportunity
Vice President, Engineering and Innovation Services
