Vacation

First Five Years of Employment

Employees accrue vacation the first month following  full months of employment.

Vacation accrues at the rate of .883 days per month.  (10 days/12 months =.833).

After  full months of employment, employees are eligible to take up to one week (5 days) of vacation - employees may take vacation before it has accrued.  Employees who terminate employment with Company ABC will have used un-accrued vacation deducted from their final paycheck.

Any vacation accrued between an employee’s six-month anniversary and the end of the calendar year must be used before the end of the year or be forfeited.  Employees may not carry over unused vacation into the next calendar year.
