In accordance with state statutes,
those employees eligible to vote on election day may be absent up to four hours
with pay.The employee must apply for
the time off prior to election day and supervisors may determine when such time
is taken during the day.
Employees must submit a request to use
administrative leave with pay for voting on a Leave of Absence Form.The request must indicate the start and end
times and dates of the leave.The
request must be submitted prior to the beginning of the leave.
The employee’s supervisor and
supervisor will approve the request.
